About the position

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and final turnover to the customer. This role involves managing project execution, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols while leading a high-performance project team. The Project Manager also plays a key role in business development by assisting in proposal strategies and maintaining effective communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the project from conceptual stages through to close-out.
  • Assist Business Development in expanding work scope and developing proposal strategies.
  • Supervise the development of budgets and schedules, managing performance and reporting progress.
  • Resolve problems and coordinate the final turnover of the project to the customer.
  • Provide leadership for the development and maintenance of a high-performance project team.
  • Ensure project execution is within contract requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control all contractual commitments and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation between project team and customer.
  • Conduct periodic project meetings to review progress and address issues.
  • Prepare and submit the Final Project Report to management and the customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial and/or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of Lemartec organization, policies, procedures, and programs including QA/QC and Safety.
  • Experience with lump sum, GMP, and reimbursable projects.
  • Ability to effectively organize and staff a project team in a matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of front-end activities including Best Practices/Lessons Learned and Risk Analysis.
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
