About the position

The Merchandise Coordinator at Williams-Sonoma Home plays a crucial role in supporting the Associate/Assistant Buyer and Buyer in managing specified merchandise categories across all sales channels. This position emphasizes operational excellence and the development of effective merchandising strategies, while working closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced retail environment. The role involves both onsite and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring effective coordination of merchandise processes.

Responsibilities

• Print and distribute weekly sales reports as needed
• Prepare reporting as directed and assist Assistant Buyers with business opportunities
• Work in Merchandise Buyer systems to set up and maintain all SKUs
• Enter and maintain all price/cost changes for relevant categories
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity
• Perform general administrative duties as assigned
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) required
• Previous experience in Merchandising preferred
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Adobe software
