Responsibilities

• Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks and secure materials prior to handling or storing.
• Pull, process, and inspect materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and parts.
• Responsible for shipping, pulling orders, and completing required customer orders and paperwork.
• Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas.
• Monitor machinery and equipment operation to ensure all products meet performance specifications and requirements.
• Notify supervisor of any quality or production issues promptly.
• Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity.
• Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution experience or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate a computer with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to learn and effectively operate equipment and work processes according to standard operating procedures.
• Good mechanical and operational understanding of equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Powered Industrial Truck Certification preferred.
