About the position
As a Merchandise Processor at Von Maur, you will play a crucial role in the distribution process by sorting, ticketing, and preparing newly received stock for sale in stores. This entry-level position allows you to contribute to an efficient workflow while ensuring that merchandise is ready for customers.
Responsibilities
- Sort and divide merchandise by color, size, and/or style
- Identify quality and quantity exceptions
- Ticket merchandise, remove and insert hangers
- Pack, label, and seal processed merchandise
- Utilize handheld scanning device to send merchandise for store shipment
- Lift and carry boxes to and from processing lines; use carts and pallet jack
- Perform all duties while standing or walking
