About the position
As a full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. Your role involves training and coaching your team to meet AEO brand visual standards, ensuring effective replenishment, and driving sales through excellent guest experiences. You will work closely with the Store Team Leader to analyze trends and make strategic business decisions, while also fostering a positive team environment and maintaining operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity.
- Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
- Develop short and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
- Coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain AEO Brand Standards.
- Lead day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
- Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct team touchbases, development plans, and performance reviews.
- Execute and innovate daily operational procedures and maintain visual standards throughout the store.
- Ensure store safety standards and adhere to AEO's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail management role.
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
- Strong priority-setting and time management skills.
- Experience in leading and developing teams.
- General understanding of employment law.
- Business acumen and flexible availability.
