About the position

The Merchandising Specialist position at PrimeSource involves servicing multiple retail stores in the Atlanta area, focusing on merchandising fasteners and building materials. The position requires 100% travel within the designated territory, and a company vehicle will be provided for this purpose.

Responsibilities

• Service 2 to 3 stores a day within the designated territory.
• Down-stock products from overheads to sales floor shelves.
• Install signage and maintain plan-o-gram layouts in stores.
• Price displays and train store employees on fasteners.
• Monitor customer warehouse inventory levels and submit weekly inventory reports.
• Collaborate with customers to create attractive sales floor displays.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the company, addressing customer issues and solving problems.
• Assist customers in creating organized warehouses for easier product accessibility.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must have merchandising experience in big box retail.
• Hardware and building material knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work safely in a retail construction environment.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and move merchandise up and down ladders.
• Must reside within the territory that you support.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
