About The Position
The position involves greeting customers on the sales floor and assisting them in locating merchandise or directing them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed. Responsibilities include checking in, pricing, and stocking merchandise according to company guidelines and planograms. The role also requires maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the display floor, making display changes, and ensuring that all sale signs are in place. Additionally, the employee will assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns, while acting as a deterrent to shoplifting and providing front floor security. As a cashier, the employee will check out customers in a friendly manner, handle merchandise returns, and assist with transactions as needed.
