About the position

The Merchandiser position at Columbia Distributing is essential for ensuring that beverages are properly stocked and presented in retail locations. This role involves working closely with delivery teams and retail partners to provide excellent customer service and maintain product availability. Merchandisers are responsible for handling various beverage products, building displays, and ensuring compliance with company standards while fostering positive relationships with store personnel.

Responsibilities

• Work product from store back stock and/or delivery loads; handling cases, bottles, and cans of beverages for sale or storage.
• Fill and rotate products in cold boxes and on dry shelves, and build and maintain displays with point of sale materials as necessary.
• Drive personal vehicle on assigned route, without transporting products in personal vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and store personnel.
• Engage in direct communication with store personnel and sales teammates to complete account services effectively.
• Accurately clock in and out of required timekeeping application, adhering to state labor laws for breaks.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's core values at all times.
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for driving positions.
• Must own and be able to operate a mobile smartphone device.
