About the position
The Merchandiser Retail Coverage II - Walmart - FLOATER position at Acosta involves ensuring that client brands are prominently displayed and available in Walmart stores. This role focuses on executing retail merchandising activities to connect customers with their favorite brands, providing a dynamic work environment with varied tasks and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock and pack out products.
- Straighten product on the shelf.
- Receive and transport coupons and signage materials to place in store.
- Use a company-issued mobile device to complete work while navigating multiple applications.
- Answer simple, step-by-step questions within Acosta's field technology on the mobile device.
- Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
- Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart store(s).
- Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with direct manager via email, phone, and text.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and represent Acosta effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with store associates and management.
- Comfortable using mobile technology and applications for work tasks.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work within provided timeframes.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in retail merchandising or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Walmart store operations.
