About the position

As a Merchandiser Retail Coverage - Walmart - PRIMARY at Acosta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Acosta's client brands are prominently displayed and available in Walmart stores. This position involves executing retail merchandising activities that connect customers with their favorite brands in one of the largest retail environments. You will work independently while building relationships with store management and associates to enhance product visibility and availability.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock and pack out products.
• Straighten product on the shelf.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials to place in store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device to complete work and navigate multiple applications.
• Answer simple, step-by-step questions within Acosta's field technology on your mobile device.
• Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart store(s).
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to accomplish tasks.
• Collaborate with your direct manager via email, phone, and text.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and represent Acosta effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with store associates and management.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work within the provided timeframe.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail merchandising or a similar role.
• Familiarity with Walmart store operations.
