As a Premium Merchandiser Specialist, you will play a crucial role in representing a wide array of brands across various retail locations. This position involves working with a diverse set of products, including magazines, grocery items, sunglasses, candy, cosmetics, health and beauty products, and many more. Your primary goal will be to grow sales for Premium clients by executing a variety of retail merchandising activities effectively. You will work independently in your day-to-day activities, but you will also have the support of field management and a community of merchandisers nationwide. You will be responsible for locating merchandise in the backroom of stores to place products on the sales floor, stocking and packing out products to ensure shoppers can find what they need, and front-facing products to maintain an appealing shelf appearance. Additionally, you will receive marketing and promotional materials at your home and bring them to the store, install promotional materials as outlined in instructions, and set up and maintain displays for various products throughout the store. You may also be involved in resetting displays or product areas based on client needs, which could include full remodels or relocating products on shelves. Throughout your work, you will utilize Premium's field technology on your mobile device to answer questions, take photos of completed work, and represent Premium and its clients in retail stores within your assigned area.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with store associates and managers.
  • Attention to detail to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to complete work within the provided timeframe.
  • Experience in retail merchandising or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in merchandising or retail sales.
