About the position

As a Premium Merchandiser, you will represent a wide array of brands across various retail locations, engaging with a diverse set of products that include magazines, grocery items, sunglasses, candy, cosmetics, health and beauty products, and much more. This role is integral to the success of an established and rapidly growing company that values family principles. Your primary objective will be to enhance sales for Premium clients by executing a variety of retail merchandising activities effectively. In this position, you will enjoy the flexibility of creating your own schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. The role offers a variety of tasks, ensuring that you will not be confined to repetitive duties. You will work independently on a day-to-day basis, but you will also have the support of field management and a community of merchandisers across the nation. Comprehensive training and certification will be provided by experienced retail professionals, setting you up for success in this role. Additionally, merchandising can serve as a stepping stone to an exciting career path within Premium or simply as a means to earn extra income. Responsibilities

  • Locate merchandise in the backroom (stockroom / warehouse) of stores to place products on the floor.
  • Stock and pack out products to ensure shoppers find what they need.
  • Front face products to maintain an appealing product display on shelves.
  • Receive marketing and promotional materials at home and transport them to the store.
  • Install and place promotional materials as per instructions to enhance product visibility.
  • Set up and maintain displays for various products throughout the store.
  • Reset displays or product areas based on client needs, which may include full remodels or relocating products on shelves.
  • Answer simple, step-by-step questions within Premium's field technology on your mobile device while completing tasks.
  • Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
  • Represent Premium and its clients in retail stores within your assigned area.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with store associates and managers.
  • Attention to detail to follow instructions accurately and complete tasks within the provided timeframe.
  • Basic technological proficiency to use mobile devices for reporting and accessing information.
