Iberia Foods is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team in Tampa, FL. This full-time position involves training the right candidate to provide product services at major retailers, ensuring that shelves are stocked appropriately and displays are optimized for sales. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining inventory effectively.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company objectives.
- Analyze sales and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan inventory stock.
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves to create visibility and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clear outs.
- Stock shelves, arrange and maintain product displays, and remove dated or damaged products.
- Build professional relationships with internal and external management.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and apply merchandising strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess sales and market trends.
- Good organizational skills for maintaining store layouts and inventory.
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with management.
