About the position

The Merchandiser role at Frito-Lay is a dynamic position responsible for merchandising the complete line of Frito-Lay products, which includes popular brands such as Lays, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, and Fritos, in various retail environments including supermarkets and large grocery stores. As a Merchandiser, you will be expected to drive your personal vehicle to multiple store locations, retrieve Frito-Lay products, and effectively merchandise these products throughout the store to ensure optimal visibility and sales performance. In this role, you can expect to undergo three weeks of dedicated training to learn the essentials of merchandising and product management. You will work closely in a team environment alongside professional Route Sales Representatives, which will provide you with valuable insights and support as you acclimate to your responsibilities. The position follows a consistent schedule with specific start times and designated customers, allowing for a structured work routine. Over time, there may be opportunities to attain different work schedules based on performance and availability. Additionally, you will be equipped with a company-issued iPhone to facilitate communication with team members, view schedules, and log your daily activities. The work environment is described as fun, fast-paced, and physical, requiring a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with proof of insurance is required.
  • Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
