About the position
The Merchandiser role at Jacent Strategic Merchandising is essential for maintaining product displays and relationships within retail environments. Merchandisers work directly in over 17,000 stores, ensuring that products are well-placed and visible to customers, thereby driving impulse purchases. This position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic retail setting, aligning with Jacent's core values of integrity, service, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Cultivating relationships with in-store management
- Executing merchandising resets
- Building retail displays
- Merchandising impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks
- Implementing plan-o-grams
Requirements
- A self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working both independently and in a team setting
- Comfortable in changing environments
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing and walking for 3-8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with business partners
- Resides within 20 miles of Lexington, KY
