About the position

As the Merchandising and Inventory Manager at PetSmart, you will oversee the smooth operation of the store, focusing on merchandising and inventory management. Your role will involve motivating associates, ensuring product availability, and enhancing the customer shopping experience. You will lead a team to execute merchandising plans, manage inventory, and create a welcoming environment for pet parents and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of merchandising plan-o-grams and promotional changes.
• Oversee the fulfillment of In-Store Pick Up Orders.
• Manage a team of Stocking Associates to maintain a clean and fully stocked environment.
• Provide guidance and development opportunities for associates.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience by training associates on pet solutions and building connections with pet parents.

Requirements

• Experience in retail management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a team.
• Ability to manage inventory and merchandising effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
