About the position

As a Merchandising Associate at Stow Community Center, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brand to life for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage and connect with customers, providing them with excellent service that fosters brand loyalty. You will leverage your expertise in our products to educate, inform, and inspire customers, helping them to make informed purchasing decisions. Collaboration with your leadership team is essential as you work together to deliver a best-in-class customer experience through an omni-channel approach. This role is not just about selling; it's about creating a memorable shopping experience that keeps customers coming back. In this position, you will consistently treat all customers and employees with respect, contributing to a positive work environment. You will promote customer loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs and actively seeking out opportunities to engage with them. Your ability to drive sales and service through suggestive selling will be key to your success. You will enhance the customer experience by utilizing all available omni-channel offerings, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and impactful. You will be accountable for your personal goals, which will contribute to the overall store goals and results. Supporting various areas of the store, including the sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, and back of house, will be part of your daily responsibilities. Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work center is essential, as is handling all customer interactions and potential issues or returns with courtesy and professionalism. You will also be responsible for executing operational processes effectively and efficiently, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and meets customer needs.

Requirements

  • Good communicator with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members to meet goals.
  • Customer-focused service provider both on and off the sales floor to help deliver an exceptional experience for customers.
  • Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, open to feedback and takes action as required.
  • Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Able to utilize retail technology.
  • Able to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 lbs.
