This role involves caring for, merchandising, and selling flowers, making it ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income with 2-10 hours of work per week. The position offers a set schedule primarily on weekends, with training provided to ensure success in the role.
Responsibilities
- Care for and merchandise fresh-cut flowers at the retail location.
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers.
- Work independently or as part of a team to maintain the floral display.
- Follow a set schedule and manage time effectively.
Requirements
- Ability to learn about and care for flowers.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Physically able to push/pull/lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable bending, stooping, and lifting products above shoulders.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Nice-to-haves
- Floral experience is a plus but not required.
- Availability to work during the holiday season (November through mid-May).
- Possession of a smart phone.
