About the position

The Merchandising Lead at Sam's Club is responsible for providing exceptional member service, supervising associates, and ensuring the effective presentation and organization of merchandise on the sales floor. This role involves training and guiding team members, maintaining safety standards, and monitoring product quality while collaborating with management to meet business needs and improve operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging member needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing training on processes and procedures.
• Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations.
• Organize and maintain the sales floor by stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise according to company policies.
• Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation and sanitation standards are followed.
• Oversee the picking and staging of club pick up orders throughout the day.
• Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and co-workers.
• Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months customer service experience.
