About the position
The position involves providing exceptional member service at Sam's Club by assisting members with their needs, guiding them in using self-service technology, and resolving any issues they may encounter. The role also includes supervising associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining the sales floor, and monitoring product quality. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with management to implement processes that meet business needs and uphold ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide member service by acknowledging member needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.
- Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing training on processes and procedures.
- Maintain the sales floor by stocking, organizing merchandise, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to management.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation and sanitation standards are followed.
- Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders throughout the day.
- Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and co-workers.
- Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work assignments and ensure quality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 6 months of retail experience.
- 6 months of customer service experience.
