About the position

The position involves providing exceptional member service at Sam's Club, assisting members with their needs, and supervising associates in the assigned area. The role includes responsibilities such as managing merchandise, ensuring compliance with safety and company policies, and maintaining the sales floor. Responsibilities

  • Provide member service by acknowledging member needs and offering guidance on self-service technology.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing training on processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the Open Door Policy.
  • Receive and stock supplies and merchandise, maintaining the sales floor organization.
  • Conduct safety sweeps and follow procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation and handle claims and returns according to company policies.
  • Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation and sanitation standards are met.
  • Develop and implement processes to meet business needs in collaboration with managers and co-workers.
  • Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work assignments and ensure quality and timelines are met.
  • Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 6 months of retail experience.
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
