About the position

The Merchandising Lead at Walmart is responsible for providing exceptional member service, supervising associates, maintaining the sales floor, ensuring safety and compliance, and monitoring product quality. This role involves collaborating with management to meet business needs and implementing processes to enhance member satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging member needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Supervise associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing training on processes and procedures.
• Receive and stock supplies and merchandise, organizing and maintaining the sales floor.
• Conduct safety sweeps and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and handle claims and returns according to company guidelines.
• Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation and sanitation standards are followed.
• Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and co-workers.
• Promote compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work assignments and ensure quality and timelines are met.
• Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months customer service experience.
