About the position

The Merchandise Operations Coordinator at The RealReal plays a crucial role in overseeing merchandise inquiries and inventory control management within the Authentication department. This position is essential for ensuring that consigned goods are processed, authenticated, and prepared for listing on the website. The role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service and merchandising inquiries.
• Prioritize and answer inquiries in a timely fashion meeting all service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assign authentication inquiries to the proper point of contact.
• Manage and organize the authentication Zendesk inbox.
• Track post corrections found from inquiries.
• Ensure both queues meet expected SLAs.
• Track and update internal exceptions.
• Support inventory management for inbound operations.
• Assist the department in maintaining FIFO/SLA.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve exceptions and operational issues that affect operations.
• Surface risks and opportunities to operation processes.
• Support strategic initiative projects.
• Audit internal and external department processes and collect data for analysis.

Requirements

• Proven ability to excel in a high-volume, repetitive, quota-driven environment.
• Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Adaptability and openness to change.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ year of experience working in a warehouse production environment.
• Proficiency with Mac OS and Google Suite.
