About the position

The Merchandise Operations Coordinator at J. Crew Group, Inc. plays a vital role in supporting the Merchandising teams by managing purchase orders, pricing sheets, and merchandising data. This position facilitates collaboration across various teams and is essential for streamlining processes and supporting key operational initiatives, serving as a pathway to the Assistant Merchandising role.

Responsibilities

  • Support Merchants in style set-up in SAP and merchandising applications for PO placement and revisions.
  • Assist category merchants to identify product opportunities and become an expert in the competitive landscape.
  • Identify and manage late styles, revising or pushing out POs as needed.
  • Revise POs to reflect the most updated deliveries and close out POs as necessary.
  • Assist Planning and Merchandising in marking styles up within SAP.
  • Execute POCNs as needed at the department level.
  • Assist Visual Merchandising with sample line sheet pulls.
  • Assist with initial pricing sheets and re-ticketing.
  • Become an expert in using the PO Health Check report to assist the Merchandising organization in assigning the correct rollouts to POs.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with PC applications, including MS Excel.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Jira, and Salesforce.
