About the position

The Merchandising Operations Senior Associate at Wayfair is responsible for overseeing and improving merchandising processes for products supplied by multiple marketplace suppliers. This role is crucial in ensuring that products are launched quickly and meet high standards, impacting both supplier and customer experience. The position involves managing workflows, analyzing operational performance, and collaborating with various teams to enhance efficiency and drive automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage specific merchandising workflows and related offshore contractor teams
• Monitor operational performance and analyze data at scale
• Proactively identify trending issues and develop creative solutions
• Collaborate with partners across Merchandising, Data Science, Analytics, and Technology
• Own and deliver projects end to end, from problem statement to final solution
• Build compelling business cases for change to secure engineering resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in a related field (technology, business operations, eCommerce)
• Strong project management and operational skills
• Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google suite
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Google Big Query is a plus
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
