About the position

The Merchandising Operations Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all product-related data and collaborating with various support teams to ensure high levels of product data accuracy. This role involves strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to process improvement, fostering partnerships with merchandising and cross-functional teams to drive business impacts and enhance product assortment management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of all product-related data.
• Partner with support teams including merchants, suppliers, and compliance to ensure data accuracy.
• Foster collaboration within merchandising and with cross-functional partners to resolve data/system issues.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with the merchandising team to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integrity and process improvements.
• Create/update training documents and host training sessions for Master Data Management system enhancements.
• Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss projects or enhancement requests.
• Assist the data governance team with discussions of new attributes or values.
• Drive continuous learning by identifying opportunity areas and generating actionable insights.
• Help create and maintain standards, definitions, and documentation for metrics and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Effective communication skills tailored across audiences.
• Innovative spirit for developing process improvement ideas.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
