This includes understanding customer needs, assisting them in locating and selecting merchandise, and providing knowledgeable responses to their inquiries. The role also involves demonstrating appreciation to customers and communicating information about stock, special orders, and warranty details related to Lowe's programs. In addition to customer service responsibilities, the position requires various merchandising tasks such as emptying plant racks, identifying damaged signage, updating wayfinding and product location signage, and ensuring proper placement of merchandise to drive sales. The individual will also assist with culling and pricing plants, maintain communication with associates, and report any quality or quantity issues to the appropriate supervisors. The role includes physical tasks such as adjusting fixtures, rotating stock, and using power equipment to support service expectations. Safety is a priority, and the individual will conduct daily safety reviews, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety requirements relevant to their duties. The position may also involve operating store equipment and performing other assigned duties as needed.
