About the position

The Merchandising/Supply Chain Analyst will support the Analytics and Data Integrity functions within the Merchandising department of a major grocery retailer. This role involves publishing and maintaining business intelligence reporting, analyzing inventory levels, and managing supply data to ensure effective merchandising execution.

Responsibilities

• Publish and maintain business intelligence reporting, dashboards, and scorecards to accurately identify trends and opportunities.
• Execute planned Force Distributions weekly for planned merchandising.
• Analyze inventory levels on discontinued items and execute forced distributions to stores following category reset timeline.
• Assist in managing outbound controls of inventory i.e. Max Ship.
• Implement methods to gather and manage supply data on seasonal merchandising displays and in/out products to ensure consistent execution of programs.
• Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data mining and reporting.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with Alteryx.
