About the position

The Merchandising Team Lead is responsible for driving store sales through effective in-store merchandising standards. This role involves close collaboration with operations, sales, and visual teams to ensure that new merchandise is displayed in alignment with brand guidelines, appealing to customers, and encouraging purchases. The position requires a strong understanding of company directives and the ability to interpret merchandising guidelines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new receipts are merchandised on the sales floor following company guidelines while interpreting the directives to best align with the brand and store architecture.
• Support the Customer Experience through store merchandising, signing, and Omni support.
• Lead merchandise associates to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discussing new products and changes to presentation.
• Maintain store standards, including product rotation, proper merchandise display, pricing, and restocking as necessary.
• Execute and model best practices for markdowns and signing processes to meet store compliance and sell-through goals.
• Coordinate gathering and moving materials, merchandise, fixtures, and equipment necessary for assigned project work.
• Work proactively with others to complete projects.
• Proficiently run the register and assist in sales during high volume or low floor coverage periods.
• Attend all store meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in compliance with the current dress code.
• Work in other areas or complete assigned duties as requested.
• Model best practices when training new associates when requested and assigned.
• Follow all safety and risk management guidelines and policies.

Requirements

• 1 Year in Merchandising and/or Visual Merchandising or comparable experience.
