About the position
The Merchandising Team Lead is responsible for driving store sales through effective in-store merchandising standards. This role involves collaborating with operations, sales, and visual teams to ensure that new merchandise is displayed in alignment with the brand and customer appeal. The lead will also support the customer experience through merchandising and will be a key holder for the store, leading the merchandising team to achieve excellence in presentation and compliance with company directives.
Responsibilities
- Drive store sales through execution of in-store merchandising standards.
- Partner with operations, sales, and visual teams to merchandise new receipts according to brand guidelines.
- Support customer experience through effective store merchandising and signage.
- Lead merchandise associates to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence.
- Maintain store standards including product rotation, proper display, pricing, and restocking.
- Execute markdowns and signing processes to meet compliance and sales goals.
- Coordinate materials and equipment for assigned projects.
- Assist in sales during high volume periods or low coverage times.
- Attend all store meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
- Model best practices when training new associates.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in merchandising and/or visual merchandising or comparable experience.
- Proficient in running a cash register and assisting in sales.
