About the position

The Merchandising Team Lead is responsible for driving store sales through effective in-store merchandising standards. This role involves close collaboration with operations, sales, and visual teams to ensure that new merchandise is displayed in alignment with the brand and customer appeal. The lead will interpret company directives and guidelines to enhance the customer experience and support merchandising excellence within the store.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales through execution of in-store merchandising standards.
• Partner with operations, sales, and visual teams to merchandise new receipts.
• Interpret merchandise guidelines to align with brand and store architecture.
• Support customer experience through effective store merchandising and signage.
• Lead merchandise associates to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence.
• Maintain store standards including product rotation, proper display, pricing, and restocking.
• Execute markdowns and signing processes to meet compliance and sales goals.
• Coordinate materials and equipment for assigned project work.
• Assist in sales during high volume periods or low coverage times.
• Attend all store meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in compliance with dress code.
• Train new associates in best practices when requested.
• Follow safety and risk management guidelines.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Merchandising and/or Visual Merchandising or comparable experience.
• Ability to stand for most of the workday.
• Ability to climb ladders for merchandising high wall areas.
• Ability to move merchandise on the sales floor.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull receiving equipment weighing up to 500 lbs.
