Betterpay is seeking an Account Manager who is a natural hunter of sales and who has direct experience selling merchant services. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure to meet sales goals and has a desire to exceed them, maximizing their earning potential (uncapped). This is a 1099 position that offers upfront activation bonuses and a residual split. The Account Manager will have a clear understanding of all Betterpay products and services and will present Betterpay's value propositions competently. The role requires self-generating leads in the business community, including Chambers of Commerce, local associations, merchant groups, community banks, and business owners. The Account Manager will enter activity into the CRM to stay organized and assist leadership in developing accurate metrics. Managing prospect and opportunity pipelines through consistent funnel management is essential, as is continuing sales development by attending regularly scheduled sales and product sessions. The candidate must work cooperatively and supportively with the executive leadership team, receiving coaching and feedback and demonstrating a willingness to implement recommendations into the sales process.
