About the position

The Account Manager at Betterpay, LLC is responsible for driving sales of merchant services, focusing on providing solutions that simplify payment processing for business owners. This role requires a proactive approach to lead generation and sales development, with a strong emphasis on building relationships within the business community. The ideal candidate will thrive in a performance-driven environment, aiming to exceed sales goals and maximize earning potential through commissions and bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Understand all Betterpay products and services thoroughly.
  • Present Betterpay's value propositions competently to potential clients.
  • Self-generate leads within the business community, including local associations and merchant groups.
  • Maintain organized records of activities in the CRM system to assist leadership in developing accurate metrics.
  • Manage prospect and opportunity pipelines through consistent funnel management.
  • Participate in regular sales and product development sessions to enhance sales skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with the executive leadership team and implement feedback into the sales process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in selling Merchant Services.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of success in B2B sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong personal and professional network with an active pipeline of business owners and referral partners.
  • Excellent business acumen and accountability for achieving sales goals.
  • Integrity, a positive attitude, and teamwork orientation.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
