About the position

The Merger and Acquisition (M&A) Tax Manager role at PwC involves advising clients on their tax obligations related to mergers and acquisitions. This position focuses on strategic consulting, managing indirect taxes, and providing global enterprise tax solutions. The manager will work with clients on various aspects of M&A transactions, including restructuring, divestiture, and partnerships, while helping them analyze tax risks and model taxable income impacts.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on local and overseas tax affairs related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Help clients establish treasury goals and analyze tax assets.
  • Assess tax risks and model taxable income and cash flow impacts.
  • Coach team members and encourage personal development.
  • Analyze complex ideas and build meaningful recommendations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes.
  • Simplify complex messages and highlight key points.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in tax services or related field.
  • CPA, Juris Doctorate, or other relevant credentials required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
  • Extensive knowledge of M&A practices and tax consulting.
  • Experience with financial modeling and strategy formulation.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and automation tools.
