About the position

As an M&A Integration Project Manager with RGP, you will lead the integration activities for acquisitions within the corporate development team of a global tech client. This role focuses on project leadership, managing workstreams, and executing comprehensive project plans in collaboration with global stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to ensure the success of the integration plan by driving measurable progress, overseeing project management practices, and effectively communicating outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the functional integration project strategy, structure, process, standards and governance.
  • Create detailed project plans and organize the completion of complex integration transformation projects.
  • Establish overall integration project and portfolio milestones and ensure controlled linkage to driving tasks.
  • Day-to-day ownership of project delivery, building trusted relationships with functional and business leaders.
  • Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and issues across the project and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Establish communications cadence for program governance and facilitate weekly project team meetings.
  • Clearly communicate project strategy, updates, and escalation of risks/issues to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Proactively control the overall project schedule and manage discrepancies, reporting potential slippages and devising solutions.
  • Collect lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement throughout the project.
  • Leverage data insights to measure and report project performance against the plan.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of project management experience leading complex acquisition integration and transformation initiatives.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience in the technology industry is a must.
  • Proven expertise in M&A and/or Acquisition Integration is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business; MBA is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of business transformation and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills to drive alignment across the organization.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and thought leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to mitigate risk and manage interdependencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
