About the position

The MES Consultant role at Enhanced Information Solutions (EIS) involves providing consulting services to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. The position requires working on project teams to assist with the implementation of manufacturing software, engaging in various roles throughout the software development life cycle, and maintaining close interaction with clients and stakeholders. The role emphasizes strong customer service, integrity, and the ability to learn multidisciplinary skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
• Assist with the implementation of manufacturing software.
• Perform various roles in the software development life cycle, including programming, project management, software validation, and unit testing.
• Engage in close interaction with clients and communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
• Conduct development or validation activities for the OpsTrakker mobile app when not at a client site.

Requirements

• Understanding of the software development life cycle and familiarity with its phases such as gathering user requirements, developing software code, and executing test protocols.
• Experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Systems is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• Authoring and/or implementation experience with MES software packages such as POMS/POMSnet, Emerson Syncade, Korber PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, OpsCenter, or other MES tools used in Life Sciences.
• Ability to travel to client sites when necessary.
