About the position

As a part-time seasonal Brand Ambassador for Meta, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers with the latest in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and enjoy engaging with people. You will work primarily on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with additional shifts available during the busy holiday season in November and December. Your primary responsibility will be to assist retail shoppers in discovering and understanding Meta's innovative products, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. All necessary training will be provided, allowing you to become a knowledgeable representative of Meta's offerings. In this role, you will engage customers by showcasing Meta's products, including AR/VR headsets and accessories, and demonstrating how these products can enhance their lives in various ways, such as fitness, gaming, and entertainment. Building trust with customers is essential, as you will need to understand their needs and confidently recommend the best products for them. You will also be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of Meta displays, ensuring that the latest devices and promotions are effectively showcased. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with retail sales associates and store leaders to create a positive and productive work environment. You will be expected to meet or exceed monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the team. Additionally, you will track customer interactions and sales electronically, submitting daily reports using your mobile device. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred.
• An interest in AV and VR products is a plus.
• Ability to engage, demonstrate, and ask for the sale.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work weekends and three one-time weekday shifts required.
• Own a smartphone.
• Ability to stand, walk around, reach, pick up, bend, and grab approximately 20 lbs occasionally.
