About the position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is seeking part-time seasonal Brand Ambassadors to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about technology and enjoy connecting with people. As a Brand Ambassador, you will work closely with retail shoppers to recommend Meta products that meet their unique needs, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. You will be the go-to person for customers seeking information on Meta's AR and VR products, including headsets and accessories. All necessary technology training will be provided by our team, allowing you to confidently engage with customers and demonstrate the latest gadgets. In this role, you will be responsible for building trust with customers by understanding their needs and recommending the perfect Meta products for them. You will represent both Meta and 2020 Companies with professionalism, fostering positive relationships with customers and store staff. Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as maintaining the visual appeal of Meta displays in the store. You will also be expected to track customer interactions and sales electronically, submitting daily reports using your mobile device. This position requires a commitment to working weekends, as the schedule is primarily Saturday and Sunday shifts, with additional weekday shifts during high-traffic times in November and December. You will have the opportunity to showcase your customer service skills in a dynamic and supportive retail environment, while also enjoying competitive pay and a $500 retention bonus for completing the seasonal program in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and demonstrate Meta's AR/VR products.
• Build trust by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products.
• Represent Meta and 2020 Companies professionally and positively.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Maintain clean and organized Meta displays in the store.
• Track customer interactions and sales electronically.
• Submit daily reports using a mobile device.
• Collaborate with retail sales associates and leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
• Interest in AV and VR products is a plus.
• Ability to engage, demonstrate, and ask for the sale.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work weekends and three one-time weekday shifts required.
• Own a smartphone.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, pick up, bend, and grab up to 20lbs occasionally.
