About the position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is seeking part-time seasonal Brand Ambassadors to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about technology and enjoy connecting with people. As a Brand Ambassador, you will work closely with retail shoppers to recommend Meta products that meet their unique needs, ensuring they have an interactive and informative shopping experience. You will be the go-to person for customers seeking information on Meta's AR and VR products, and all necessary technology training will be provided by our team. This position requires availability on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday, with additional shifts available during the busy holiday season in November and December. The role offers a competitive pay rate starting at $19 per hour, with opportunities for continued program work and advancement. You will also receive a $500 retention bonus for completing the seasonal program in good standing. In this dynamic role, you will engage customers by showcasing the latest Meta gadgets, helping them understand how these products can enhance their lives, whether for fitness, gaming, or entertainment. Building trust with customers is essential, as you will need to confidently recommend the perfect Meta product based on their needs. You will represent both Meta and 2020 Companies with professionalism, fostering positive relationships with customers and store staff alike. Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets is a key responsibility, as is maintaining the visual appeal of Meta displays in the store. You will also be expected to track customer interactions and sales electronically, submitting daily reports using your mobile device. This position is primarily focused on weekend shifts, with the expectation of working during high-traffic times, including weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and demonstrate Meta products, showcasing their benefits and features.
• Build trust with customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable Meta products.
• Represent Meta and 2020 Companies professionally, fostering positive relationships with customers and store staff.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the team's success.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of Meta displays, ensuring effective promotion of products.
• Track customer interactions and sales electronically, submitting daily reports using a mobile device.
• Collaborate with retail sales associates and leaders to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
• Interest in AV and VR products is a plus.
• Ability to engage customers, demonstrate products, and ask for the sale.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work weekends and three one-time weekday shifts required.
• Own a smartphone and have reliable transportation.
