About the position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is seeking part-time seasonal Brand Ambassadors to join our team at Best Buy in Mentor, OH. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and enjoy engaging with customers. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for showcasing Meta's innovative AR and VR products, helping customers understand how these technologies can enhance their lives. You will work primarily on weekends, with additional shifts available during the busy holiday season. The position runs from May 27, 2024, to January 5, 2025, and offers a competitive pay rate starting at $19 per hour. Training will be provided online or at home, ensuring you are well-prepared to assist customers effectively. In this role, you will engage with retail shoppers, recommend Meta products tailored to their needs, and ensure they have a successful shopping experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Meta displays, tracking customer interactions, and meeting sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and demonstrate Meta's AR/VR products.

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team success.
  • Track customer interactions and sales electronically using a mobile device.
  • Collaborate with retail sales associates and leaders to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
  • Strong interest in AV and VR products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage customers and confidently ask for the sale.
  • Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.
