About the position
The position involves working in a full-service metal fabrication shop, where the individual will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, and assembling various metal products based on provided drawings or verbal instructions. The role requires a strong understanding of different welding techniques and metalworking machinery.
Responsibilities
- Layout, fabricate, and assemble various metal products according to drawings or verbal instructions.
- Operate MIG, TIG, and stick welding equipment.
- Utilize shears, press brakes, saws, milling machines, and plate rollers effectively.
- Perform heavy math calculations as required for fabrication tasks.
- Work occasional overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Knowledge of operating shears, press brakes, saws, milling machines, and plate rollers.
- Strong math skills for fabrication tasks.
- Valid driver's license.
