About the position

The Graphic Designer Internship at Metro College offers a hands-on opportunity for college students to develop and design layouts for print and digital platforms. Interns will focus on creating compelling visuals that effectively communicate messages to target audiences. This role involves collaboration with various creative professionals to brainstorm and implement innovative design solutions, contributing to projects that promote Metro initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design layouts for print and digital platforms.
  • Transform ideas and information from creative briefs into visually engaging products.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, videographers, and project managers to brainstorm innovative solutions.
  • Assist in all aspects of design for projects that raise awareness for Metro initiatives.
  • Compile, review, and analyze data for reports.
  • Research data and assist in preparing management and technical reports.
  • Produce tangible work products including presentations, reports, and graphic representations of data.
  • Review reports to identify problems and recommend solutions as instructed.
  • Participate in training sessions related to departmental functions.

Requirements

  • Must be attending an accredited college or university pursuing a relevant degree.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 required.
  • Must be a rising college freshman or higher.
