About The Position
The Metrology Technician is responsible for conducting inspections and measurements of molded and purchased parts to ensure they meet relevant engineering and quality standards. This role involves coordinating shipping and receiving samples to/from the metrology lab, preparing samples for inspection, performing dimensional measurements using common metrology instruments, and generating reports documenting inspection results. The technician will also provide status updates to internal customers, ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, and support internal quality audits.
