About the position

The successful candidate will lead the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Transformation Integration and Architecture team, focusing on project management, business relationship management, enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, and process engineering. This role is crucial for ensuring that the build, deployment, and adoption of One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) capabilities align with the MFC business strategy and long-range plan. The position involves leading a team of 7-10 direct reports and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the MFC Transformation Integration and Architecture team.
  • Oversee transformation cross-portfolio project planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Manage transformation requirements and traceability.
  • Govern MFC Enterprise Architecture modeling.
  • Architect transformation capability solutions.
  • Engineer process architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise capabilities and priorities.
  • Collaborate with the MFC Transformation Chief Architect and other teams.

Requirements

  • Experience engaging with business leaders to gather requirements and implement IT/business system solutions.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for major initiatives aligned with Enterprise Strategies.
  • Proficiency in application, data, and/or business process architecture related to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sustainment.
  • Experience harmonizing systems, processes, and data across multiple business areas.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a first line or second line manager.
  • Working knowledge of the 1LMX program.
  • Familiarity with 1LMX Functional Enterprise Reference Architecture.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking skills to solve complex problems.
  • Experience with transformational capabilities like Digital Threads and Digital Twins.
  • Experience with systems modeling tools such as Cameo and modeling languages like SysML or UML.
