About the position

At Merit Medical, the Mfg Engineer III position is a part-time role requiring 20 hours of work per week. This position involves performing complex technical work related to the design, manufacture, and operation of structures, machines, and systems under broad supervision and guidelines. The engineer will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications as necessary. The role requires investigating a moderate number of technical variables to complete assignments that have clear and defined objectives. The engineer will work on conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment that have relatively few complex features, for which there are established precedents. Additionally, the engineer may have authority over Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) and will perform other related duties as required.
