This role is pivotal in driving business development activities, focusing on customer engagement, requirements shaping, and the generation of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience in the defense sector, particularly in areas related to Radio Frequency (RF), terminal phase munitions, and multi-mode seeker systems. The position requires a strategic mindset to develop a comprehensive 5-year roadmap that aligns with the company's goals and future procurements. The Manager will be responsible for identifying and leading partnerships with Prime Contractors and Department of Defense (DoD) commands and labs, ensuring the integration of Elbit Systems' advanced seeker technologies. This role involves assessing emerging technological areas and establishing personal relationships with various DoD agencies to facilitate collaboration and business growth. The candidate will also need to evaluate annual service budgets and long-range plans to recommend key targeting areas that align with the company's strategic roadmap. In addition to managing business development activities, the Manager will work closely with Field Marketing colleagues to build relationships with DoD acquisition offices and service staff. The role requires the ability to navigate complex problems in a culturally diverse international environment and to champion Go/No-Go assessments for strategic platform-level solutions. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and build alliances within the industry and government sectors.
