About the position

The CD&S Manager at CME Group plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth for CME Group Products by engaging with both new and existing clients across targeted segments and regions. This position is pivotal in developing and managing relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met while also identifying new opportunities for business expansion. The manager will be responsible for directly reaching out to assigned accounts, assessing their needs, and crafting effective account plans to maximize revenue potential. In this role, the CD&S Manager will diligently enter and record all activities in the CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that all client interactions and progress are tracked accurately. Building relationships with senior-level individuals at prospective firms is essential, as is the ability to create and present content that showcases the wide range of products and services offered by CME Group. The manager will leverage various data sources, including Info Source and Tableau, to analyze performance against key metrics and report findings to stakeholders. Additionally, the CD&S Manager will participate in educational efforts aimed at both customers and colleagues, providing valuable insights into market-building strategies. This position will manage a portfolio of assigned Target, Growth, and Key accounts, working collaboratively with resources across the enterprise to resolve any support issues that may arise. The role requires a proactive approach to client management and a deep understanding of the derivatives market, including futures, options, and swaps, as well as the operational models of prime services at both bank and non-bank entities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in increasing revenues for CME Group Products from new and existing clients across targeted client segments and regions.
  • Develop and manage relationships with new clients and manage a portfolio of existing clients.
  • Directly reach out to assigned accounts to assess opportunities and develop effective account plans.
  • Diligently enter and record activity in the CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Independently develop relationships with senior-level individuals at prospective firms.
  • Create and present content to clients covering a wide range of topics related to CME Group products and services.
  • Leverage Info Source, Tableau, and other data sources to track, analyze, and report performance against key metrics and activities.
  • Participate in efforts to educate customers and colleagues.
  • Provide input into market-building strategies.
  • Work with resources across the enterprise to assist in resolving support issues.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Background in derivatives (futures, options, swaps).
  • General understanding of how prime services models operate at bank and non-bank entities.
