About the position

The F35 Solutions team at BAE Systems is dedicated to delivering best-in-class electronic warfare solutions that ensure mission capability for the warfighter. We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager (SCM) who will lead a diverse team of Supply Chain Planners and Material Planning Coordinators across multiple shifts, supporting the complex and dynamic Microwave factories located in Nashua, NH. The SCM will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive program and business success, while also providing the necessary support and leadership to help the team meet performance objectives related to quality, cost, and schedule. In this role, the SCM will cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with various functional partners, including Program Management, Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality. As the escalation point of contact between the Supply Chain team and its partners, the SCM will ensure program execution aligns with BAE Systems policies and procedures. Additionally, the SCM will lead training initiatives, maintain Individual Development Plans, and support career growth for their team members. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of Supply Chain Planners and Material Planning Coordinators.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to drive program and business success.
  • Foster strong relationships with Program Management, Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
  • Serve as the escalation point of contact between the Supply Chain team and its functional partners.
  • Ensure compliance with BAE Systems policies and procedures during program execution.
  • Lead training initiatives and maintain Individual Development Plans for team members.
  • Support career growth and development for the Supply Chain team.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives within the team.
  • Promote Employee Safety initiatives as part of the company's core values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 8 years of experience in Supply Chain management.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate personnel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to create and deliver program presentations to internal and external customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • APICS Certification or equivalent.
  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Knowledge of MMAS Regulations.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certification.
  • Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other).
  • Root Cause/Corrective Action Skills.
  • Experience in a complex, multifaceted manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with defense aerospace industry and regulations.
