About the position

The Retail Sales Manager (Mgr II) is responsible for overseeing and driving the sales performance of multiple retail locations across Hawaii. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, optimizing store operations, leading and developing store managers, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience. The manager will also identify performance gaps and improve metrics through data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales metrics related to productivity, sales, close rates, and transaction targets within retail stores.
• Coach and develop sales representatives and store leadership to maximize contribution.
• Ensure all retail locations adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards by conducting regular store visits.
• Monitor store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service quality.
• Recruit, hire, and train store managers and retail staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in retail sales or related field.
• Experience in retail sales, call center, and/or outbound sales leadership.
• Experience in developing sales processes and managing to sales metrics.
• Coaching/supervisor experience.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, communication, and motivational skills.
• Strong process improvement and data analysis skills.
