About the position

The IT Project Manager at Arhaus is responsible for leading and organizing all activities related to projects facilitated through the Arhaus PMO. This role involves business analysis, documenting processes, managing project schedules, and ensuring overall project planning. The position is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Boston Heights, Ohio, and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and organize all activities pertaining to projects facilitated through the Arhaus PMO.
  • Conduct business analysis and document processes and detailed requirements.
  • Manage project schedules, timelines, and overall project planning.
  • Identify, communicate, and assign tasks with project resources.
  • Develop and maintain a project plan, including documenting business needs and project requirements.
  • Communicate requirements to the IT team for technical solutions.
  • Understand business processes and goals of business units associated with a project.
  • Document current and future state business processes and IT system flows.
  • Monitor all project activity, including budget monitoring and tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships and expectations.
  • Support business partners in resolving operational issues.
  • Plan and manage workload, commitments, and schedules across multiple projects.
  • Support the Project Team in test planning and quality assurance processes.
  • Provide clear communications to internal teams, project stakeholders, external vendors, and customers on project status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Retail Merchandising, or a related field, or 3-5 years of related experience, or Project Management Certifications.
  • Experience in an IT environment and ability to understand technology concepts.
  • Preferred experience in Retail, Ecommerce, Merchandising, ERP, CRM, or Supply Chain systems.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with business partners to provide technical solutions.
  • Experience in gathering, documenting, and organizing business requirements.
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and/or Access).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
